Visitors banned from Camborne address for a further three months

An address in Camborne has been served with a partial closure order extension in a bid to tackle antisocial behaviour (ASB) by banning people from visiting the premises for an additional three months.

The property, located on Park an Tansys, was served with a three-month partial closure order back in April 2026, prohibiting anyone other than the tenant to enter the address.

The order was granted following numerous reports to the police and council of noise disturbances, continuous visitors to the address all hours of the day and suspected drug dealing.

Despite having an active closure order in place, visitors continued to enter the address which was a direct breach of the conditions.

An extension to the partial closure order was granted by Truro Magistrates Court on 28 July, which will now be in place until October this year. 

Further breaches of the order can result in prosecution.

Police Inspector Lou Brown said: “The disruptive and harmful behaviour happening at the address understandably caused concern and worry within the surrounding community.

 “We hope the extension of this order demonstrates our commitment to tackling this type of behaviour head on.

“Our message is clear – we will continue to take robust action in response to any ASB reported to us.

“Alongside our ASB Officer Kay Smith, we’ll continue to work closely in the community to monitor the partial closure order and take action against any breaches.”

Kay Smith, Anti Social Behaviour Caseworker for Cornwall Council, covering Camborne said: “The ASB linked to this property had a significant negative impact on the lives of those living nearby, so it is wonderful to know that those other residents can relax and enjoy their properties and gardens without worry once more.

“As always I would like to thank those who reported the issues, and provided the evidence needed to get this order granted.”

The Camborne Neighbourhood Policing Team are committed to tackling ASB and will continue to work closely with partner organisations to reduce crime that impacts communities.
